" When I first called John, we were a 7 person company with about 5 clients. Now we are an 11 person company with over a dozen clients and a nice loft in downtown Manhattan. Our projected revenue is close to doubling from last year. "
Mike Feldman, Data-Rite Systems
" When I started working with John, I was frustrated with my business. John helped me to focus, gave me tools to clarify my vision for my life, work, and family in the future, which then began to restore my confidence in my business and abilities. Plus we grew the company, hired more staff and moved to nicer offices. "
Scott Wolfman, Wolfman Productions

" John Seiffer has helped with two areas of my work - with basic time & task management as well as defining my leadership. "

Kendra Ford, 1st UU Society of Exeter

Companies Succeed when 3 Things Happen Concurrently

  1. You make something people want to buy.
  2. You find those people and sell it to them.
  3. You build an organization that can do the first two things repeatedly at a cost that's lower than what customers are willing to pay.

The third is the hardest - or at least the one with the most moving parts. Why? Because the complexity of an organization can range from one person in a spare bedroom to teams and facilities all over the world. Then it will need to be transformed in step with your internal growth as well as external changes in the market, in technology, and in the global economy.

As an entrepreneur for almost 30 years, and as a consultant and coach to entrepreneurs since 1994, my focus has been on the organizational structure of small companies: those with under 75 employees.

A properly aligned structure can make it easy to achieve not only company goals but the personal goals that drove you to be in business for yourself in the first place. A misaligned structure can waste your time, money, and energy.

Do You Run a Company with 5 - 75 Employees?
Have You Been in Business More Than 18 Months?
Are You Frustrated by any of the following:

  • Sales remain steady (or even increase) but profitability declines
  • Top management is frustrated with the quality of employees; especially new hires
  • Morale is sinking: petty squabbles and turf fights are evident
  • People may be working harder but accomplishing less
  • Top management does what they have to do – not necessarily what they enjoy or are best suited for
  • Employees don’t seem to be going in the same direction
  • Cash is not available to take advantage of all the opportunities

Maybe I can help. Call me to discuss your situation. My number is 203-775-6676.
